SeaFoam - yes or no

Ok, no good way to say this, if you were running your car and had 8 year old gas in the tank, you're going to have problems. Your tank is going to be rusted above the gas line, and full of crud on the bottom. The sock on your fuel filter is going to be trapping all sorts of large chunks, and your fuel filter is on its way to being fully clogged with what gets through the fuel pump.

Been there, fixed that.

The fact that the car was running on a few gallons of 8-year-old gas with a couple of fresh ones on top, tells me that fuel is most likely. Also, I haven't touched the ECU since I put the JWT unit in over 15 years ago.
