This is the table of contents for articles chronicling the acquisition of a spare SR20DE engine, the disassembly, the build up to a 200 bhp monster, and installation into my 1991 SE-R.  Here you will eventually find dyno tests also.  I hope that you enjoy these web-based articles.  It is my intention not to repeat the fine work of Mike Kojima (to whom I owe a great deal on this project), but to tell my story.  I also wish to tell the story as it cannot be told in a magazine due to space constraints and deadlines.

Gutting The Beast  September 17, 1998:  This article covers gutting the lower end of the engine.

What to do with the Guts  July 22, 1999:  This article is where we deal with the guts of the engine while it is apart before assembly can begin.

Picking Up the Pieces  December 9, 1999:  We finally get to put everything together.  This is the longest article to date.  It has lots of photos in the beginning.  We'll probably add more photos later when we get the opportunity to scan them.
