What you want is a puller that will use the 2 threaded holes to pull from,
that is why they are there.  Pulling from the outside of the pulley could
break the edges or on an older car separate the rubber used for dampening.
It is pretty easy to rig a puller up from a heavy steel plate with 3 holes.
