Yup, and it is a piece of cake, even on a 13-year-old Northeast car. To make
things easy, make sure you get not only new right & left brake cables (and mark
them so you don't get confused), but the T-adapter that ends up bolting to the
brake handle.

Basically:

  - Jack up car, take off rear wheels
  - Remove exhaust heat shield from underside - use lots of
Liquid wrench and a light wrist so you don't shear the bolts!
  - Unbolt parking brake cable stays from underside (ditto above)
  - Unbolt parking brake cable from caliper
  - Slide off parking brake cable from caliper
  - Take off inside trim around parking brake handle
  - Unbolt parking brake cable from handle
  - Remove cable

Installation is reverse. It really isn't tough, just take your time and be
careful so you don't shear off the bolts for the heat shield and brake cable.
