Hmm, what was the KA designed for? Funny you might ask.. 240SX's,
Hardbody pickups, I think a couple of other vehicles..

I have to quote a 2 sections off a page devoted
to D21 trucks that everyone can check out for more info:

Deep Pockets
If you've got just plain too much money, give Rebello Racing a call. They'll
build you a 500 horsepower KA24, with a one-off intake and header, with the
biggest set of nitrous jets you'll ever see this side of Pro Street. Or you
can opt for the milder 300 HP GT motor. Makes power at about 7500 RPM and not
a moment before. Both motors will last about a month of normal driving. Be
prepared to change your oil daily.

SR20DET swap
Whole lotta trucks running around with this combo. Even more 240SX's doing the
same thing. Figure at LEAST $4000 all told. You can cop a complete
motor, tranny, turbo, intercooler, radiator, ecu, harnesses & sensors combo on Ebay
for less than $2000 on a fairly regular basis. Mounts and such are supposedly
brain-dead simple. I should have a bunch of links here for sites that show it.
>From then on, you build your SR20DET like the boy-racers on SR20DE.net do.
Have fun and bring your visa. Ever looked at an SR20DET?
