That I will not debate. Synthetic oil does clean , but not at the rate of
a professional engine flush.

It was a crap shoot with the sludge in there. Even new dino oil would
have a renewed detergent package.

The other concern is that they put extra detergent in it. If you have
sludge build-up it will dislodge it faster.
An oil like DuraBlend has no seal swell & has less detergent in it. It's
debatable on the % of synthetic in it also. I'm betting it's mostly dino oil
, & it still has the undesirable viscosity modifiers in it.

Change it out at 3,000 miles & you wont have to find out what the nasty
side effects are ;-).
