well, i installed the STB the other day. overall it went pretty smoothly i
did trim the carpet back to fit around where the end plates meet the bar. if
you do it carefully, it looks really good.
for those of you that havnt taken the rear strut covers off in the NX, there
may be a little plastic plug holding one end under the trim that is at the
edge of the trunk. i only had one, but be careful not to break it.
the bar DOES fit under the strut cover trim...barely. it seems to either be
touching or just about touching the bar. i was going to grind just a little
of the plastic trim, but i decided to wrap some electric tape around that
part of the bar. i figure that if it looks like its rubbing the electric
tape excessively, then i will grind some plastic away, if not..im going to
leave it for now.
overall, i didnt have any problems. the 2 ends bolts are allen-key style,
and are large. i didnt need one however, i just held the bolt and tightened
the nut..it got tight.
as for driving impressions...it seems to have tightened up the rear end. i
dont want to say that i it didn't do a lot, but i havnt driven it on a track
yet, so i cant give a definite answer.
