longevity of the mailing list

I'm not sure when I joined the list, must have been '95 or '96...?  I was always mostly a lurker, posted questions a few times here & there though.
I remember buying my '93 SE-R in January of 1994, it was the last one on the lot and had 29 miles on the clock.
It's been my daily driver, my road tripper, my therapy chamber and unfortunately for the past year and a half it's been a dust collector in my garage.  The dreaded 5th Gear Popout issue got so bad that the emissions test facilities here refused to test it on the dyno - they said it had to have all five gears working.  It wasn't old enough or rare enough to qualify for the 'collector car' emissions exemption and no emissions test means no registration.  Money and time have been tight the past couple of years so I haven't been able to fix it.  It makes me sad every time I go in my garage but one of these days I'll be able to get her up & running again and continue enjoying my time behind the wheel.
