I have had this one twice.  Both times, alternator. I have chased electrical demons in other cars.  Always start with the easy stupid stuff first.

Any time I have a no start I think is due to electrical
1. fuses
2. cables (including cables to starter)
3. battery (voltage when attempting crank, although bright headlights can also show a dead battery sometimes)
4. starter (check for voltage from ignition first then solenoid then starter windings.)
