From the Nissan fold, the 2 door Altima looks nice but I wonder if
there's enough headroom with a helmet? But I've only sat in one that
had power seats that had power to them.

My wife's 07 Altima certainly doesn't inspire me to think of the
Altima as a track car. I've put all of 50 kilometres on my Versa S 6
speed that I just picked up yesterday. I got it for economy and
space, a simple every day driver that won't need constant fixing like
my used NX2000 or 200sx SE-R. I like it so far, but I don't think
it'll ever compare to my NX 1600 which I've owned since new - and had
a Rust Check type spray annually. For the rest of it's life this NX
will likely be garaged every winter (just started doing that 2 years
ago) and used for summer fun. Like other track/street cars, it's
uncomfortable on city streets (or I'm just way too old) but so much
fun on the track.

And yes, for those of you who know me, I'm still running the GA16.
I'm looking forward to Calum's first GA ecu arriving by courier any
day now. Once it's in my car and we've ensured that this prototype
works appropriately I've got JWT cams and a few other goodies to see
what else I can pull out of the engine. On short tracks with lots of
corners, I put smiles on my own face and anyone else who gets to have
a ride in it! And my daughters have surprised a few guys on the track
- as the macho guys couldn't stay with them in the twisties. They
were 3 and 2 when I bought it; used it to learn how to drive
standard; and now are even doing a few track events for fun in it.
I've found that one of the best father/daughter methods of
communication. That, gentlemen, is a great family car!
