Engine swap into G20 (and little Weeks, too)

Hi,

This is the first time I've checked my mail since Saturday, so I'm finally catching
up on directly, though Larry passed the info on to me. I did swap intakes, which
was easier than I expected it to be. It is a piece of cake with the engine on stand, and looks like a big PITA in the car.

The relevant sensor is a small one with a two-wire plug that is on the driver's side
(#4 runner) on the lower half of the intake. I am looking through the PDF'ed G20
manual (thanks James!) that I downloaded to see what it is, just for my curiosity.

I recalled from my research that the JDM injectors were usable (?) but the
connectors on the injector harness on the intake were different, and swapping
injectors and harnesses would probably have taken more time than swapping intakes.

I got the engine back into the car (by myself! :) ) last night. I hope that I do not
run into any starting/drivability issues when I start the car up. I would have it done
on Friday, but I have to drive to Detroit and back for an interview Friday morning.

Thanks George, Mike, etc. for the responses.

Oh, and Agnieszka was in labor yesterday, so Larry is probably a dad by now :)

I expect we'll see a message from him soon on that subject, though.

Low-port. Log on top, injectors underneath. Beautifully clean engine
from Soko... when we took off the exhaust manifold, there wasn't a
speck grime in any of the little crevices of the block.

I haven't seen it... he said on the intake side of the manifold, by the
emissions stuff over there. It is there on the G20 engine, and not the
new engine. Perhaps I'll take a look tomorrow morning.
