EGR and emissions problems

I don't know if this could be your issue, but I got high NOx readings
when my exhaust system was not producing enough back pressure.  As a
result, the BPT valve was not operating and the EGR would not function
without the BPT working.  So, check to see if your back pressure is
sufficient to trip the BPT.
