I agree with you 100%. I do believe you are missing the point, however.
The point is for the people that DOES NOT have any anti-virus program
installed on their PC and have been infected. I have provided a way for
them to remove a virus once they are infected, like the member that I have
helped remove the virus. Mr. Weeks gave a caution to the community and I've
added a way for anyone that has been infected a way to remove the virus.
Plus, there are NO anti-virus program in existence that are pro-active!
They are all re-active programs. Which means that a virus has to be
reported first before it can be disenfected and added to a list of viruses
by any anti-virus program. By all of them being re-active none of them are
better than the other on detecting new viruses because it does not exist on
their database or system for it to detect it.

I can tell you the same for the likes of Norton and McAfee against Panda.
