PS tensioner bolt access - what a bitch

I've done this before on my SE-R while installing the electric water pump on
it and removing PS pump. Here is how I do it. I loosen the pivot bolt on the
bottom of the pump while car is in the air- I belive its a 14mm nut- do not
take it out or anything, just loosen it so that the pump can pivot freely.
Now I take a ratchetting 12mm "GearWrench" and loosen the adjuster bolt that
bolts up to the slidder- once again just loosen it. Then I remove the strut
tower brace if you have one, my SE-R had ABS and AC in the past, so getting
to that 12mm adjuster bolt would be a biatch. What I do is.... get a 12mm
3/8" drive swivel socket on on a 12" long extension, then a 3/8" drive
swivel extension and another 12" long extension and a 1/2" drive to 3/8"
drive reducer on my titanium case 1000lbs reverse torque IR impact gun- one
hit on the button and the nut breaks loose- then I put my smaller 3/8" air
impact gun on it and loosen it enough so I can slide the belt off-
alternator belt has to bee off in order to remove the water pump/ PS pump
belt. Whole procedure takes about 15 min at most :) If I'm doing pullies-
the 4 set, I like the drop the motor about 6" out of the engine bay- takes
about extra 15 min.
