Brian, as someone who experienced something similar earlier this year, I
feel for you.  It's tough to lose a car you've put blood, sweat, and tears
into.  On top of that, I shed a tear every time we lose an SE-R now.  They
are becoming so hard to find in good shape.  Mine's going to need a major
overhaul, but once it gets it (and it *will*), it will only see limited
duty on the street for this very reason.

I was less concerned about the G since they are far more plentiful than the
SE-R, but I chose to go down another path.  I must say, that path has been
a good one for me (although Bimmer reliability is nothing like
Nissan's).  I hope whatever you choose, you are as happy with your new
choice as I have been.

BTW, lots of former SE-R owners (and current for that matter) own Bimmers. :-)
