I'm not exactly proud of it, but who makes a paper filter has just about
nothing to do with my findings.  The only "high quality" dry paper cone
filter I can think of is the A'PEXi Power Intake, which is much more like
a POP than an APC filter in design and manufacture.  The point is that
even a K&N, Accel, Blitz, or whatever brand "universal" cone filter will
hurt your performance more than it will help.  Do it right, or don't do it
at all.
