Precautions for car outside w/out cylinder head?

If my car is going to sit outside for a month or two without the cylinder
head, are there any precautions that should be taken to protect the
block/pistons from the environment?  i.e. some sort of spray for rust, etc.

I would think a plastic cover or garbage bag for dust protection at a
minimum.
