There was just an article in Sport Compact Car a month or two ago on modding
the Spec V.  The test pig was Dave Coleman's rally car.  In short, you'll end
up with roughly 180whp I believe.  The very first thing you'll want to do is
get headers!  There's been a prob with the close coupled cat disintegrating
and pieces being sucked back into the engine basically destroying it.  So not
only do you get more power by getting new headers, but it'll also protect your
motor!  Then the next simpliest mods would be an intake and exhaust.  Then the
next two mods with increased difficulty are the cams and balance shaft removal
kit.  Have fun!
