May sound stupid but have you tried
adjusting the cable yet to get it to catch
sooner. This may take that feeling that
you are speaking about away. Once you get
it to engage where you want it to, you can
then tell if it's slipping. Try running it up to a
high rpm doing a quick shift and see if the
motor revs a bit before it seems to launch
forward. If it does, then yes it's slipping. If
you treat it tender it may last you a little
while longer :-)  Joel
