Ray, Unfortunately a lot of the time the gritch is from the actual clutch lever in the tranny case. When you have the tranny off you should grease the shaft that goes through the bellhousing that goes from the cable to the throwout bearing. Depending on condition, though, sometimes the only thing you can do is to replace the bushing/bearing in there. -Scott
