I own both Rota C8's (used to have the SO3 on them but just bought some
Kuhmo MX's for them) and a set of Kosie K1's for my race tires. The Rota's
generally are only 6.5 inch's wide the Kosies are 7 inch's wide. Personally
the Kosie's are a better quality wheel. I am happy with both of my choices.
Also, if you buy the Kosie's from Bruce they will include the proper
hubcentric rings and the lug nuts as well. Many of the places that sell
Rota charge for the hubcentric rings and none of them give away the lug nuts
to my knowledge. If you decide to get the Rota you could expand the choice
of tires to include the Kuhmo MX's they are an excellent choice. My SO3s
were awesome at VIR in the rain with 70% tread. Had them up to about
125mph. Truly amazing wet performance with that amount of tread. For the
record my Rota C8's weighed 12.5 pounds and the Kosies Weighed 13.5 pounds.
The extra .5 inch does add a little weight.
