OH YEAH! First, let me say, I like them, and they live up to their name
(very Courteous about fixing their screw ups), and I still do business with
them. Steve even recognized me by name a couple mos. ago, and I hadn't
talked to him personally in a few years. My brother placed an order before
that, and upon hearing the last name asked "Are you Wayne's brother?" Very
personal service for a crew of 20 or so (compared to 2 or 3 in a typical
parts dept.)

But a few issues I have:
* They keep you credit card permanently on their computer (as Brian found
out!) This is considered a Very Bad Practice (even on a non-networked
machine) in these days or credit fraud and identity theft. Worse yet,
their software doesn't have any designated place for the number SO THEY
LEAVE IT TYPED OUT IN THE TOP LINE OF YOUR SHIP-TO ADDRESS! That way the
UPS guy and anyone else who handles the package can scam your card#!!! I
asked them to delete mine, and they did, no prob.

* Their order accuracy can really suck: probably 25% of my orders (maybe
12 in the last 6 years??) have been pulled & packed wrong.

* And their one really botched order with me: needed a few tune up parts
shipped 2nd day or not at all, and some other junk shipped
"whenever". Asked if I should place it as two orders, or anything special
-- no need, they said. Well, the tune up stuff didn't show up on
time. But one NX console lid worth $18 that I was in no hurry for got
over-nighted to me in its own package for $25 freight. Later a second one
showed but I was never charged for it. A few other parts were omitted or
doubled, total of 4 or 5 packages came in, think I got charged $80 or more
in freight for $250 of parts. The extra stuff I wasn't charged for offset
it so I never bitched much. But I'd hate to see how far off their annual
physical inventory is!

* Might have been the above order, but I bought their B13 stainless exhaust
mid-pipe. It never showed. Finally called; Steve or someone generously
(and of course Courteously) offered to fix the order and ship it
next-day. "No Need" I said, "won't be installing it soon." It showed up
UPS Red next day for about $35 out of their pocket on a $180 part. That
lovely piece of metal sat in the corner of my living room for 5 or 6 months
before installation.

I don't know how they make any money at this rate! Moral: Don't ask them
to split up an order. Don't backorder anything; Just hold on to it ALL
until it's ready to go together. You'll get friendly service, good parts
availability and cheap prices!
