I'll agree with you.  Joe was pushing that car a bit hard... but having
fun doing it ;)  Although nothing serious happened, you are correct that
something more serious could have resulted from pushing that car

As for pushing cars beyond their limits, that's always an aim in a rental
car... ok, I'm kidding!  I personally have a hard time going *TO* the
limit of a rental car's control and not trying to push beyond that limit -
that's what I got the extra insurance for.  Not to sound ignorant but I
like pushing rental cars.  As for my own car, I have to take a step back
every now and then to remind myself that it's not racing and that I *DO*
have to drive my car home at the end of the day!
