The use of the black flag (I worked turn 1) was a discussed concern via radio
of all corner workers because the car was being pushed too hard. This was
evident after the flying yellow had to be produced in my turn for loss of
control. Remember track events are supposed to be fun, but safe for all other
drivers as well. Pushing a car past its limits not only can cause accidents,
but gravel and other debris to come on the track as well, risking everyone
elses fun, and primarily safety.
