Hi,

The mailing list software has been updated. There are many changes,
not all of which are worth mentioning. Here are some notable ones:

	1. The Sender: header has changed, and may break filters. If
you filter the list email, and you can filter on any header,
I suggest using the List-Id header. For this list, it will
contain se-r.lists.deskmedia.com as a unique identifying
	   string.

	2. The web interface is cleaner. You can manage your
subscriptions more easily, and if you are subscribed to
multiple lists here, you can change some of your options
for all subscriptions at once now.

	3. You can now unsubscribe via the web without needing your
password, the request will generate an email message where
	   you click on a link.

	4. You have more options about what you receive. You can now
disable getting a copy of messages you send to the list. You
can recieve a confirmation message from the list when you
do send a message, to know the list got it. You can disable
getting multiple copies of messages: when somebody sends
a message to both you and the list, the list can detect
that and not send you the additional copy.

	5. The list software supports topics. I can define keywords
which appear in Subject: headers. Those keywords mark a
message as belonging to only a certain topic. You can then
choose to subscribe to particular topics, and not receive
other list mail. I have not implemented any topics, but
if this interests you, let me know.

Another change coming soon will be a different, and hopefully better,
search engine. I'll be testing that this week.
