MAF and ECU question

A quick guess would be that the O2 sensor got fouled from running rich,
depending on how many miles are on the car, you may want to go ahead
and replace it, I believe it's recommended that they be changed every
60K miles.

I don't know if the '97 has a 2nd O2 sensor or not, I believe that
newer cars have one somewhere around the catylitic converter?
