I've run into this a bunch of times with my "extended length" repair
jobs.  And just recently my bro's NX did the same thing.  I don't know for
sure what's wrong.

But my #1 theory is injectors leak and dribble gas into the cylinders
during the prolonged down time.  Usually the solution to get it running
again is to crank it with the gas pedal floored.  This is the same trick to
use on "flooded" carbureted cars, which I think gives a little plausibility
to the theory.

Next time one will be down for a while, I'll be sure to try relieving the
fuel pressure first to see if it helps.
