Actually, my comment comes with a funny story. I wanted the dealer to
determine why my compression pressures were all over 200 psi. I left my
car at the dealer, the dealer informs me my pressures are all at 170 and
gives me back my car. I stew for six months and decide to go back so
that I can document the problem. The service manager refuses to retest
the car. I eventually argue enough that he agrees that I pay for the
procedure if my numbers are less than 200 (car is new and under
warrantee). The top technician is called to do the test. This
technician is immediately in my face telling me how good he is, earns
over 60k/year, etc., etc. He performs the compression test and reports
170 psi. During the test, he refuses to hold the accelerator down
arguing with me that it make no difference. I argue repeatedly until he
angrily repeats the test with the accelerator down. Bingo, all
compression pressures are 200+psi. Service technician then refuses to
speak to me again!
