Coil packs

Thanks for the answer but what is it for? What are gains losses? If I
were to get a Turbo I assume that it would almost be a necessity. When I
spoke to someone at Summit they made a comment to the effect that all
new cars are being build with this type of spark generator. So I was
curious as to why they would state that since I am kind of hoping they
weren't out to make a buck.

Not worth the effort on naturally-aspirated engines with bolt-on
modifications. Stick with stock, unless you're going for show car
points. If you're running a big Juice shot or have a DPR Stage-VI head
on an 11:1 bottom end, though, it may be worth further investigation.
