Broke vacume hose connection 91 classic

Upon installing my JDM I realized I broke a connection for a vacume hose.
The piece the hose hooks to is like a 1 inch or so square block looking thing
that is attached to a bracket that lies under the throttle body. On this
piece is 3 vacume hose hookups and a wire connector. The bottom hose is the
one broke off and from the looks of it I don't have enough there to glue it
back on. The hose runs from the block to a metal tube around the BPT valve.
When I follow the metal tube it T's off and another vacume hose goes to the
CAI, or the hose that connects the MAF to the throttle body.
Sorry if this is too long but I am worried that It will cause my engine to
run rough.
If I took the hose and maybe " T " into the closest vacume hose on the
block and plugged the broke part, would it maybe serve the same purpose?
   Sorry for the long post.

Thanks,
Darren
