Interesting. That is completely the opposite of what I'm reading on the
944 list right now. I'm not disputing what you say in the least. Just
very interesting.
There is an article in the current Excellence about the 924 GTR (944
prototype LeMans race car) and a major Porsche engineer said that the
shafts were well worth the power they consumed.
BTW, I'm not disputing Mike either. I'm just trying to learn here and
share what I'm hearing. I know lots of folks remove them.
Wish the 944 had the QR25DE. It could use it.
