They are gapped that way because the SR20DE recommended Copper Plug is not
the BKR6E-11's. It is the BKR6E's which would have had the correct gap when
you purchased them. Check the recommended plugs again with the manual. If I
am not mistaken, the BKR6E-11's are for the GA16DE not the SR20DE.
