Starter Rebuild Questions

This is something I saved from a long time ago. I got the brushes, but
got the idea that they were hard to find. They might not be available
anymore.

Looking to rebuild your starter?  Part number for the brush assembly is
23378-53J02
91 SER with Hitachi starter.

They (the brushes) lasted 174,000 mile.  The rest of the starter was
dirty and smelled like burnt grease.  Disassembled the starter, cleaned,

greased and changed the brushes.  Works like a charm.
