Hey folks, this was posted to the 944 mailing list this morning. I know it's
GA16 powered, but I rather doubt that matters in this case. I was hoping
y'all could help. I *thought* I saw something like this posted some time ago,
but can't remember anything about it.

Perhaps someone from the GA16 list could post it there as well to help (but
again, I don't think engine matters in this case).

Subject: OT: Nissan Sentra dies when turning

Sorry for the non-Porsche post, but I have a potentially dangerous
problem with my wife's car that I can not track down. (This may be a
repost - I got a message to turn off my HTML before posting and I do not
know if the original went through or not)

Car: 1993 Nissan Sentra 1.6 liter Automatic w/ 92,000 miles.

Problem: Sometimes the car dies when she is turning. She says it can
happen either turning left or right. It is a random occurrence that
happens only once in a while - mostly in high humidity conditions (we
think).

Tid-bit that may be related: We are on our 4th starter and even now
there are times when she turns the key and nothing happens. Gently
rocking the car when in gear usually does the trick and the car then
starts fine.

I suspect an electrical problem, but I can not find anything amiss via a
basic visual inspection. We have parked the car until the issue is
resolved. Any help would be appreciated.
