Interesting.  So it's not actually limiting slip via gear pitch like the

Ahhhh!

Now that you mention Neons, I'm 98% sure that was the application they were
talking about on the 944 list.  Ok, this makes sense now.

Thanks for clarifying.  I was reticent about saying third hand that I heard
bad things about them *occasionally*.  But, I didn't want it not be said that
there were some reports of problems.  Now that you have cleared that up, I
feel much better.
