Mufflers

OK, I have never heard anyone say that before,
but seeing that you have done testing on them
Does it make any difference which direction
the louvers are ??

I think reversing the louvers reduces the turbulence
and makes the muffler louder but I have not tested
this.

Bell; and he states to stay away from louvered mufflers since they do create
backpressure.  He, also, states that if you do use a louvered muffler to
turn it backwards.  My thinking would be to not buy a louvered muffler at
all.  My opinion (and a little of Corky's.)
