<div dir="ltr">Got my 96 SE-R at 18. Sold it back in 2003. Then I had a 2005 Evo followed by a 2005 S2000 and 2006 G35 sedan with 6-speed. Man, I turn 40 next month..... the current DD is a 2012 CT200h. It's my first automatic car and the first time I came to a stop, I tried to push in the non-existent clutch. On the stock tires, I got 45mpg. I put on some Bridgestone high performance summer tires and my mpg dropped to 42. But I can corner way harder now :) The mpg and auto are much appreciated driving around LA. I've had a 2005 S2000 for about 10 years now which became the fun car when I got the G35 to replace it as the DD. I have a 2005 CBR 600RR for the two-wheeled itch. My dream car is a 718 Cayman... maybe in a few years. Porsche's tend to depreciate quite a bit in 4 years, so I'm hoping to pick one up in the $35k range.<div><br></div><div>-Khiem</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr">On Tue, Nov 6, 2018 at 6:42 PM Eric Waterman <<a href="mailto:eric.waterman@gmail.com">eric.waterman@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div><div dir="auto">I still have my B14, but it has not moved under its own power since 2013. The Koni/GC suspension was too rough for me, so it was sold and a set of Hyperco springs was found and paired with some Motivational rear mounts, but it sits on junk yard shocks until I get around to replacing those. Daily duties move between a 2004 Forester XT or a Evo 9, mostly the Evo these days. Between running and keeping up with an 8 year old, a simple clutch job has been drug out to almost 8 weeks for the Forester. <div>Earlier this year, I replaced my beloved Mazdaspeed3 (which I moved on to from the SR20 world) after 9 years of miles and smiles. When we were expecting our first child, my wife and I agreed that I should get the "family" car as I have no commute. Her
criteria: had to fit the dog and baby safely at the same time. My criteria: fun to drive with a bit more utility. Ended up with a '15 Audi SQ5 which has the ZF-8. Never had an auto trans vehicle before this so it took some getting used to but overall I've
been very happy with it. Supercharger whine is no turbo spool, though! My projects are more of the rural and small engine maintenance type these days. Maybe just biding my time until the owner of my old turbo B13 decides to move on and she ends up back in
my garage down the line...<br clear="none">

I am in Baltimore. I have this car as second owner since 1997 I think. I want to restore the paint and probably not much else. Car has 300k miles on it but just 200k on the engine with s3 cams and most of the bolt on that we're available in the early 2000s.

in manual mode. It is also comfy and currently bone stock. I have an AMG limited slip differential on the shelf I want to install though. :)</div>
