<div dir='auto'>My 1991 SE-R was a daily until about 2017. I drive it about 1000 miles a year but it needs bodywork as the paint has started flaking off but thankfully I don't see any major rust. I may daily it during the winter though so slightly worried about that. I am in Baltimore. I have this car as second owner since 1997 I think. I want to restore the paint and probably not much else. Car has 300k miles on it but just 200k on the engine with s3 cams and most of the bolt on that we're available in the early 2000s.<div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">My daily now is a 2009 Benz E63 AMG with the 6.2L normally aspirated V8 and a 7.5Kish redline. This is the most seriously rapid car I've owned and it handles itself well for a big car. No manual trans but the 7speed auto and flappy paddles work well in manual mode. It is also comfy and currently bone stock. I have an AMG limited slip differential on the shelf I want to install though. :)</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Omer<br><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Nov 5, 2018 12:44 PM, Jaret Rapp via se-r <se-r@se-r-list.org> wrote:<br type="attribution" /><blockquote class="quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><font color="black" size="2" face="arial">
<div>My 91 SE-R hasn't been a daily since 2001? I am barely putting 500 miles a year on it now. Drive it enough to keep it alive. She is due for an oil change and will change the fuel filter while I am at it.</div>

<div>My Daily is a 2013 Honda Accord Coupe V6 with (gasp) an automatic. That was the first new car purchased with an automatic and honestly don't regret it. The auto equaled the performance of the manual, got 3mpg better, and I drive in a lot of stop and go traffic so it took my driving fatigue level down bigly.</div>

Subject: check-in - what are you driving?<br />
<br />
<div>It's been a while. I wonder how many of us DD our cars still? I don't. My NX2000 has been track-only since 2007.
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My DD is a 5 litre 2014 F-150 Supercrew, which will do towing duties when I (eventually) race the NX.</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Stored on the lift in the garage, next to the NX, I have my Dad's old Daimler SP250 and his 1995 240sx, which I repainted recently. It has just under 97,000 kilometres on it still.</div>
