the sad truth is I think I'm too old to enjoy the stiff ride and loud exhaust now"<div><br></div><div>Oh man, we're getting old. I'm beyond *getting* there. :-P</div><div><br></div><div>I just reanimated my 98 M Roadie. Compared with my 01 325iT (with coilovers and aftermarket swaybars), the Roadie is a visceral ride. Mostly fun, but *constantly* giving you an overload of feedback (and just plain NVH). I drove it a bit over the weekend (and to work today), but shortly after, I hopped into the wagon. You know, the wagon is actually a better car in many ways. It's still sporty with good feedback and I feel more trusting in it. I love the fact the Roadie is a true roadster, and that is fun. But it sure takes a lot more out of this old man.</div><div><br></div><div>I haven't left the Manual Gearbox Preservation Society though. :-)</div><div><br></div><div>Geo</div></div>
