If it a stripped head on the bolt or nut, vice grips are your friend. Then go back with new hardware. If it is crossthreaded, back out the bolt and chase it with a tap. If the thread is too damaged for that, drill the hole out, replace with through bolt and nylock nut or licktite and nut.</p>

Last night, I discovered that the firewall motor mount was not tight.
