Starter problems

I'll put some jumper cables on it after I install the JGY starter. During the last race, the battery and brake dash lights started coming on in unison (first time ever). Maybe that could be related to a bad battery. The battery is one of the lightweight Odyssey batteries and is mounted in the trunk. Maybe it's done. The alternator voltage remained near 14 v during the race.

I figured that if it was showing `12v sitting and ~14v running it was good. Apparently not. And she always had problems when I wasn't around to witness it or try to diagnose it. I wound up eventually replacing the battery and that fixed the problem. Do you have a spare battery to try?
