Bah.  Got an old car, needs an engine.  And the damned thing won't install itself, just sits there on the engine stand...

Still at Apple, 'working' is a relative term.  :)

Noises that go away on their own with an older car usually means that parts have finally fallen off.  Hopefully it wasn't anything important...
