Middletown, CT. I should spend some time to write up everything the
car has...highlights are '93 Electric Blue, VE engine (blue N1 valve
cover) VVL activated with MSD, JWT intake into the left fenderwell,
Gen 6 header, Walker catalytic converter, VRS 3" exhaust, NOS
transaxle (2007, ~5k miles since then), Kosei T1S 15x7 wheels with
Kumho Ecsta XS 205/50-15 (2 summers old), Shig struts with 8611 or
8610 (stock strut tops), some well-known aftermarket rear (no
installed front bar), B14 front seats, metal brackets on the rear
package tray (needs one strap), Megasquirt and CalumRT, Motorsports
radiator, Momo Steering wheel (no airbag; airbag dash lightbulb
removed), working A/C and cruise, short shifter with NOS shift knob,
EDM headlamps with working headlight adjuster switch, some kinda JVC
radio you'll want to replace, t-tops don't leak (but I'm searching for
new glass seals to make it look better). Lotsa new mechanical parts
replaced when we did the engine, like both driveshafts, brakes, ball
joints, hoses, alternator, etc. Also an installed NGK AFR with digital
display and output to the Megasquirt (when installed; uses an ECU wire
that the CalumSult ignores).
Comes with (all uninstalled) good used hood/hatch/both doors (black),
NOS front air dam, NOS N1 cams, NOS door seals, NOS fenderwell liners
and engine splash shields, PERFECT condition dashboard that came out
of Tim's/Mel's/Tim's white hardtop (the installed installed one is
cracked), EDM center cubby drawer (AFR takes up that space now),
original side skirts (I removed them and installed GA16 mud guards; I
like the look better), four used door mirrors, two used tail lamps,
original front fog lamps (I took them out), one extra T1S wheel, one
each GA16 and SR20 front bar/bushings/links, buncha used parts called
"spares" (steering column, rack, brackets, etc; no engine stuff, all
came from the black car I parted out). I also have a new "godspeed"
aluminum radiator with fans I was going to install, but when I
inserted those cheesy-ass tie-wraps through the fins to attach the
fans - the way they INSISTED that I install it - it cracked and sprung
a leak. I got so pissed off I never bothered to find someone to fix
it. But, it never overheated at a track day at Mosport last summer.
Haven't driven it since the weather turned nasty last December
(*never* drove it during the winter months, and *never* when there
might be salt water on the roads) but I have to dig it out this week
as it's due for emissions this month (passes by adding in a couple
gallons methanol and backing the timing down to 15*).
Opportunities: while there's no significant body damage, it could use
an overall re-paint (and you'd install the NOS airdam at the same
time). Needs a battery, which I'm doing this week (I'll probably put a
small lightweight one in). Center console hinge busted (dammit!!!). I
also want to drop the spring rates from 300/200 down to ~200/150,
rides kinda rough.
Probably a whole lotta stuff I'm forgetting. We'll see what I think of
this idea once I fire it up this week and drive it a few times... ;)
> You wanted to give me what $9K for mine? Lol.
Actually, Ray, you rejected me at $11k... ;)
