Um my old SE-R had it for years.  The condensor in that car was pretty clogged so it never worked great.   The new one (280K Clint Fongs with my 382K motor) works just fine too.  Albeit it's been only 2 weeks now.   But never had a problem.

Dunno the R134 stuff is cheap and you can get it at Wal-mart. :)
