Texas members? -sort of OT

Are there any folks from Texas still reading the list? More importantly, are
there any that wouldn't mind giving me the lowdown on Dallas?

 

I just got a job offer that would move me to Dallas (from Seattle), and I
have was hoping to ask the locals some general questions about nice(r) areas
to live in, schools, insurance, property taxes, etc. 

 

Just to throw in some SE-R content, I'd be bringing my Classic down there
with me :-)
