Oxygen sensor question after removing my AIV

OK, the other day my AIVB bung broke again on my Stillen header so I had it
welded and put the Nissan Maxima EGR plug in the AIV bung and removed all the
AIV equiptment. (JWT ECU w/AIV removal program).
So as I was cleaning my flange off with brake cleaner, I think I sprayed brake
cleaner onto the o2 sensor.
Now the car bogs from 1000 to 3000, intermittently. So I am wondering if the
AIV removal did this (which I doubt) or the o2 sensor quit. Would a bad o2
make the car bog?
Let me know what you guys know before I go to the "Zone" tomorrow for a new
o2.
