Strut recommendations

Hey, I think I can finally give someone valuable advice. Although I drive a b14 ('99SE-L), I have Hyperco b14 springs (300/250 I think) paired with AGX's and I live in the pot-hole capital (aka Rochester, NY) I've been very happy with this suspension combination. I started with the AGX's at 2/4, but the ride seemed a bit bouncey. Next I tried 3/6, which was pretty good, but the seems in the road, especially on bridges, seemed a bit too rough. After reading an article about this set-up on a b14 at www.nissanperformancemag.com, I changed to 3/5. This worked really well, but some of the especially rough roads were still irritating. So, finally, I switched to 2/5 a few weeks ago and I really can't complain at all. Even some of the worst roads are now bearable. With all of the adjusting I've done, and will most likely continue to do based on road conditions and how/where I'm driving, I can't imagine having Koni's.
As a side note, I've found that tire selection and tire pressure also has a big impact. I'm not sure if this is why, but I think that maybe the higher spring rates makes changes in these more noticable. I hope this helps.
Jason.

I just received the latest Hyperco springs for my Classic (woo-hoo and
thanks to Chris Scarpulla!). So now, I need to pair them with decent
struts. I was planning on the AGX's, but thought I would seek the sage
advice of this list. I need the suspension to be a daily driver in
Cleveland (pot-hole capital of the world - next to Rochester, NY) and an
autocross competitor in STS. Are the AGX's my best bet?
