Engine break-in oil

Hey guys,

What type of oil do you recommend for breaking in a
freshly rebuilt SR20DET?  Some sources say to use
non-detergent straight 30 weight oil to help the rings
seat faster. But, the directions on the bottle say
that is not intended for brand new engines or for
engines with hydraulic lifters.

Other sources say that newer machining technologies
allow for use of standard detergent motor oils and
that non-detergent break-in oil is no longer
necessary.

I was thinking of using either Castrol GTX 10W-40 or
20W50. What do you guys think?
