Wheel offset question

My +35 ATS Comp Lite's rub the fender on extreme compression.

The bad news, they did it on the pro-#&@! equipped car easily,
with almost NO inducement, but those springs have way too low
of a spring rate for the height. I wouldn't ever suggest *anybody*
put those on their car, for anything. I sold the car to my buddy,
and more mechanically inclined partner, he will change the springs
out before he runs a bigger than stock wheel.

The good news. No matter how hard I've tried, based on where
I set my ride height with the 300/200 GC's, I have not been able
to get the rear wheels to rub. I don't know if they never would
in an extreme track situation, but I can't get enough body roll
doing tight figure-8's at 25-30, and barely holding grip on
205/50/15 Azenis to rub the fenders in the rear. The -2 degrees
of negative camber up front effectively keeps them inside the well.

Being that if you have a +40, you can use a 2-5mm spacer and
some longer studs to properly adjust for strut/brake clearance, I'd
strongly suggest a +40 and spacers, or a +38, or a +35, and keep
the springs stiff.

As it is, I really need a longer stud with the ATS wheels, anyway.
