Also, if I have 2.25 inch stainless piping from the cat-back, should I
go with the 14457 (2-inch core) or maybe move up to the 14462 (2.25-inch
core)?  Suggestions welcome.

You may have to contact Magnaflow directly.  I found this one day on the

Punch in your zipcode, and boom.  Some dealers may be able to get what
you want, some may not, you'll just have to do your own footwork.
(snip)  The XL line is kind of new, so be prepared to spend a few hours
